Message Imperfection
I’m not perfect… None of us are. Each day we are bombarded with reminders of that imperfection. Commercials point out things we “lack” in our lives and ways that we can be made better. With their products we can have the “perfect” shiny hair, flawless skin, and long beautiful eye lashes. The imperfection that hits us the most is often not our looks, but our actions words… and sins.

At times it can seem as though we are falling behind everyone else. Every mistake that we make may be played over and over in our minds. All our sins can at times haunt us. However, the scripture for today reminds us that Jesus’ sacrifice cleanses us from the guilt, the sin, and the eternal death from sin. We can continue ahead with the goal of doing our best for the world and the Lord. But when we find that our souls aren’t the shiniest, our actions are not flawless, and our words are not far reaching and beautiful… we must remember Jesus’ gift of forgiveness, accept His cleansing… and move on clean and forgiven.

I Exalt Thee 9 (Red)

May the Lord bless you and keep you: May the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you: May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace." Amen.

Go in peace, and serve the Lord
Thanks be to God
